About UAE Calculator Hub
UAE Calculator Hub is a free website that helps people who live and work in the UAE answer everyday money questions quickly: how much gratuity am I owed, what will this loan cost each month, can my landlord raise the rent, how much is a taxi from the airport? We build simple calculators for these questions and explain the rules behind each one in plain English.
What you will find here
- Work and salary: end-of-service gratuity, overtime pay and related guides on UAE labour rules.
- Loans and banking: loan EMI, mortgage, car loan, debt burden ratio (DBR) and fixed deposit calculators.
- Housing: the Dubai rent increase calculator based on the RERA rental index rules.
- Getting around: Dubai and Abu Dhabi taxi fare estimates and guides to bus routes and public transport.
- Everyday tools: zakat, SIP, calorie, protein, age, area, CBM and other handy calculators.
How we build and check our calculators
Every calculator starts from the rule it is meant to follow, not from another website’s numbers. We work from official sources wherever they exist, such as the UAE Labour Law and its implementing resolution for gratuity and overtime, UAE Central Bank rules for loans and mortgages, the Dubai rental index decree for rent increases, and RTA and Abu Dhabi transport tariffs for taxi fares.
Before a calculator goes live, we test it with worked examples whose answers we already know, including edge cases such as service under one year or a loan at the maximum allowed term. When a law, fee or fare changes, we update the formula and the explanation on the page. Each calculator page explains how its result is worked out so you can check it yourself.
Please treat results as estimates
Our tools give good estimates, but your contract, your bank’s terms or a recent rule change can make your real figure different. For anything that matters, such as a final settlement, a loan offer or a rent dispute, confirm the number with your employer, your bank or the relevant authority. Read our disclaimer for more detail.
How the site is funded
All calculators and guides are free to use, with no sign-up. The site may show advertising to cover running costs. Advertising never changes how a calculator works or what result it gives. You can read how we handle data and cookies in our privacy policy.
Who is behind the site
UAE Calculator Hub is run by a small team based in Dubai. You can meet the people who maintain the calculators and guides in the team section below.
Found a mistake?
If a result looks wrong, a rule has changed or a link no longer works, please tell us through our contact page. Include the page and the numbers you entered, and we will check it and correct the page if needed.
